12 inning effort

The Astros took on the Washington Nationals for the first time this season at Minute Maid Park. The game went into the 12th inning before the Astros pulled away with th 5-4 win. Local product John Patterson started for the Nationals. It was certainly not the outting a pitcher would like. Patterson gave up two homeruns, one to Lance Berkman and another to Preston Wilson.
