End of an Era

Jeff Bagwell announced on March 25 that he will be unable to play the '06 baseball season. Bagwell underwent shoulder surgery last year and has been unable to throw since then. Bagwell will undergo another surgery to remove bone spurs in his shoulder. He admits this may be the end of his career as a player. If so Houstons all-time homerun leader has seen his last spring training, his last at bat, his last inning at first base. His numbers speak for themselves. Thanks for the memories, it was one hell of a ride.

Spring Training

As Major League Baseball Spring Training winds down many players are still fighting for a roster spot. One player that does not have to worry about making the team is Astros second baseman Craig Biggio. Biggio started his 19th season with the Astros.
