Lamar University's Alan Daniels became the quickest Cardinal to reach 1,000 career points. Saturday night wasnt a career night for Daniels he finished with only 13 points.

Congrats go out to the University of Texas Longhorns for winning the national championship against the USC Trojans. Port Arthur native Jamaal Charles saw limited action but did have 34 yards rushing on five carries. I have met Jamaal several times and have no doubt that he will one day play on Sunday.
